Pressure sustaining flanged valve with electric control and metal pilot

Description

Hydraulic control valve used to maintain upstream pressure value constant. When the incorporated 3/2 solenoid receives the order for opening, the valve opens only when the inlet pressure reaches a preset level by means of a plastic sustaining pilot incorporated. This valve controls the inlet pressure and maintains it above the preset pressure without being affected from upstream flow and pressure variations.

When upstream pressure value is lower than the preset pressure value, the valve closes completely.

Applications

Upstream pressure control.
Pump system protection against excessive demand.
